Charlotte Rose is a GCYSA and ODP athlete who is used to fighting hard and pushing herself to the limit. All this hard work paid off recently though when the Houston teen won g old at the 2017 Youth Sailing World Championship in Sanya, China.
That’s right. This Global Edge NextGen beat off stiff competition to be ranked number one globally for the Laser Radial Girls category, and the Global Edge team could not be prouder!
It takes real dedication and commitment to achieve this, but as she says, “I don’t worry about the going slow just the standing still.” And standing still is the last thing she will be doing this year. In July, she will be competing in the 2018 Youth World Sailing Championship in Corpus Christi, Texas with plans to hold on to her well-deserved crown.
We have no doubt that this future Jacksonville University student is on track for success, and we are excited to see what she does next.
We will be supporting Charlotte from our Corpus Christi office as she takes on the world in July, and would like to invite all our Global Edge family to come out and support her as she continues the fight for team USA.
